CCSD Instructor Self-Evaluation Statement – Branching Minds Level 1
Instructors across the Crook County School District (CCSD) who have completed Branching Minds Level 1 training have strengthened their ability to support students using a structured, data-driven MTSS (Multi-Tiered System of Supports) approach. This training has provided educators with essential tools for identifying student needs early, implementing targeted interventions, and using data to guide instruction and support.
Through this training, CCSD instructors have developed the following skills:
Student Identification: Improved ability to recognize academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs in students using classroom data and observations.
Intervention Alignment: Increased confidence in selecting and applying appropriate, evidence-based interventions matched to student needs.
Platform Proficiency: Gained familiarity with the Branching Minds platform to document concerns, assign interventions, and monitor student progress.
Collaborative Practices: Strengthened collaboration with MTSS teams and support staff to develop effective student plans.
Areas for Continued Growth:
Deepening understanding of Tier 2 and Tier 3 interventions.
Using data more effectively to adjust interventions and instruction.
Enhancing communication with families through the platform.
Next Steps:
Apply the Branching Minds system consistently in support meetings and classroom practice.
Participate in additional training opportunities, such as Level 2.
Continue collaborating with colleagues to improve outcomes for all students.
This training has equipped CCSD educators with a solid foundation to improve student support and ensure every learner has the opportunity to succeed.
