Buses Rules

 Any questions or problems concerning the buses should be directed to the high school principal

As with any school personnel, bus drivers have authority over children.  Students’ misbehavior on the bus, particularly if it threatens the health and safety of other students or diverts the attention of the driver, may result in students losing bus riding privileges on a short-term or permanent basis.  A summary of the bus rules are as follows:

1. Obey driver directions promptly and without argument.
2. Sit where assigned.
3. Always keep limbs and head inside bus windows.
4. No loud talking or music while in transit.
5. No profanity.
6. No horse-play, scuffling, or throwing things.
7. Remain seated until the bus comes to a complete stop.
8. No controlled substances are allowed for any riders.
9. Other rules stipulated by drivers as needed.
10. Notify the bus driver if you are not riding the bus in the morning or afternoon.

BUS PROCEDURES

Only buses are to use the bus lane in the bus loading zone (the west entrance) from 2:45 – 3:50 P.M. (1:45 – 2:30 P.M. on Fridays).  There is absolutely no parking (except for buses) along the bus lane during those times.

You may pick up and drop off students on the south side by the playground.  Please be aware there are lots of vehicles driving through our parking lots and down the streets and we want all of our students to be safe.  Please you’re your child aware of the need for safety when loading and unloading.  Thanks for your assistance!
